Marlins Game Raises Funds for Key West Police Athletic League

Key West residents can buy discounted tickets to the Miami Marlins game against the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday, July 11, with $5 from each ticket supporting the Key West Police Athletic League.

The game starts at 4:10 p.m. at loanDepot Park in Miami. The Marlins designated the matchup as Key West Day for the fourth consecutive year. The city plans to combine the event with a belated Fourth of July celebration honoring the nation's 250th birthday.

PAL operates after-school and weekend programs that combine sports, computer classes, and educational activities for children. The organization also runs camps during summer and holiday breaks.

Florida Keys Media Group General Manager Rick Lopez created a playlist of Key West songs for the game. City Legislative Liaison Todd Stoughton helped organize the event.

Tickets are available at https://www.gofevo.com/event/Keywest8 or through a link on the city's website.
