Citrus County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Citrus County (DOH-Citrus) invites Citrus County residents of all ages to attend the fourth Annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The event will be held from 10 a.m. – noon at:Central Ridge Community Center77 Civic CircleBeverly Hills, FL 34465 No-cost health screenings, including blood pressure, hemoglobin checks, glucose, and A1C checks will be provided. DOH-Citrus staff and other community organizations will also provide nutrition education, car seat information, breastfeeding information, as well as information on creating a safe sleep environment for babies. There will also be giveaways and raffles. For more information, contact Kathryn DeFranco at 352-513-6083.

5 days agoClassic Car Cruise-In Returns to Downtown Inverness
Citrus Vettes & Camaros Car Club presents the Friday Night Classics & Muscle cars Cruise-In, Historic Downtown Inverness on the Third Friday of each month. From 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Entertainment varies monthly. The roads will close at 3:00 pm and the car club will park cars starting at 3:30 pm. All cars must be legally parked by 8:00 pm.
