Chris Massicotte Sworn Into Key West City Commission

Chris Massicotte joined the Key West City Commission on Aug. 24, 2026, bringing a background in advocacy, finance, and government.

Chris Massicotte was sworn into the Key West City Commission on Aug. 24, 2026. A familiar face in local advocacy and business, Massicotte brings experience in finance, technology, government, and organizational management.

Massicotte previously served as President of Keys Last Stand and contributed to the boards of Fair Insurance Rates in Monroe (FIRM) and the Key West AIDS Memorial. He also completed the Key West Ambassador Program and Leadership Monroe County.

Massicotte holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Villanova University and a master's degree in government administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government. He lives in Key West's Midtown neighborhood with his husband, Eric, and their dog, Harper.
