CFCC Expands Evening & Daytime Trades Classes Wilmington

Cape Fear Community College will offer evening and daytime sections in technical programs starting this fall across its North Campus in Wilmington, Burgaw Campus, and Alston Burke Surf City Campus. Registration opened June 3.
At the North Campus, the Electrical Systems Technology Certificate Program offers DC/AC Electricity on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:10 p.m., and Residential Wiring on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the same time. The Plumbing Certificate and Diploma program adds morning sections of Modern Plumbing from 7:30 to 10:25 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
The Burgaw Campus hosts Introduction to Refrigeration on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 to 10:50 a.m. Mechatronics students can take Introduction to Automation and Robotic Fundamentals in morning blocks.
The Surf City Campus offers Criminal Justice Technology's Introduction to Criminal Justice on Tuesday afternoons at 1 p.m. Evening options include plumbing classes four nights a week and HVAC courses on Monday and Tuesday evenings. The campus also adds evening business administration courses: Principles of Financial Accounting on Monday evenings from 6 to 7:50 p.m. and Introduction to Business on Wednesday evenings at the same time.
