United Way Hardin County Grants $100K to 12 Partners
United Way of Hardin County allocated $100,000 to twelve partner agencies and four internal programs for the 2026-2027 campaign year, funding organizations focused on education, health, and financial stability.
Partner agencies include Beatitudes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Brady Effect, CHP Health Professionals, Hardin County Council on Aging, Helping Hands, Love INC, Midwest Regional ESC, Neighborhood Opportunity Center, Red Cross Hardin County, Safe Haven, and Hardin County YMCA. United Way will continue its internal programs: Lunch Buddies, five high school food banks, 2-1-1, and Hardin Student Leaders–United.
The Community Investment Committee evaluated applications and recommended funding levels to the Board of Directors, which approved the allocations at an announcement May 15.
"These allocations represent the heart of our mission," said Martha Nau, executive director of United Way of Hardin County. "We are grateful to our Board of Directors and Community Investment Committee for their commitment to ensuring every dollar makes a meaningful difference."
