Kenton City Schools $120 Summer Food Benefits
Staff Writer
June 11, 2026
Kenton City Schools will distribute $120 per child to families through the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer program, Food Service Director Regina Comstock announced.
Students who qualified for free or reduced-price meals during the 2025-2026 school year automatically receive the benefit. The district will load funds onto Ohio Direction cards, last year's Summer EBT cards, or newly issued cards mailed to households.
Families can use the $120 benefit at grocery stores, farmers markets, and other approved retailers from June through August. Comstock notified parents of program details through ParentSquare.
