Kenton Lions Club Installs 390 Veterans' Banners

The Kenton Lions Club installed 390 veterans' banners across the city Thursday, completing a two-day project that required nine members and equipment from three local organizations.

Lions members Dave Amweg, Jason Van Buskirk, Dave Dulin, Joe Burbacher, Bill Keller, Jack Elsasser, Daryl Flowers, and Brad Bailey mounted the banners under project coordinator Roger Crowe. The Hardin County Agricultural Society, 1879 Electric, and Grindell Masonry provided bucket trucks for the work.

The banners display photos and names of local veterans. Additional installation photos are available on the Kenton Lions Club Facebook page.
