City of Elmore Council APPRENTICESHIP INTERVIEWS SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES February 4th, 2026, 3:30 pm Elmore City Council Chambers 202 S Hwy 169, Elmore, MN 56027 Mayor Zachary Dahl called the meeting of the Elmore City Council to order at 3:30 pm. Councilmembers present were Lorman Jahnke, Betty Myhrom and Dave Davis. Sue Dickson was absent. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Jimmy Comstock was the first to interview, receiving an overall average score of 100.2. Next was Ethan Stenzel, receiving an average score of 90. The last to interview was Chad Wubben, receiving an average score of 108.2. The Council was impressed with the interviews but no decisions were made as there are more to come. As there was no further business, it was moved by Jahnke, seconded by Myhrom to adjourn the meeting. All members present voted aye in favor, none against, motion carried. Councilmembers present were Lorman Jahnke, Betty Myhrom, Sue Dickson and Dave Davis. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Brian Otdoefer was the only person to show for their interview. He received an average score of 94.  APPRENTICESHIP INTERVIEWS The Council talked about calling Wubben back in for a second interview as he was the highest score so far. As there was no further business, it was moved by Jahnke, seconded by Dickson to adjourn the meeting. All members present voted aye in favor, none against, motion carried. Councilmembers present were Lorman Jahnke, Betty Myhrom, Sue Dickson and Dave Davis. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Wubben was called for a second interview but accepted other employment prior to the interview. Ronald Miller was the first to interview, receiving an overall average score of 117. Bobbe Garvick, receiving an overall average score of 119.4. Betty Myhrom abstained from this interview due to conflict of interest. Next was Norman (John) Kolve, receiving an overall average score of 101.5. Jacob Remer, receiving an overall average score of 97.3. The Council talked about calling Garvick back for a second interview as he was the highest score so far. As there was no further business, it was moved by Davis, seconded by Dickson to adjourn the meeting. All members present voted aye in favor, none against, motion carried. ATTEST: CITY CLERK
