Dense Fog Advisory Lifted for McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, Northern Cook Counties

The Dense Fog Advisory previously issued for McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, and Northern Cook counties has been lifted by the National Weather Service (NWS) Chicago IL.

As of 9:51 AM CDT on September 29, the NWS confirmed that the threat of dense fog has ended for the affected areas. The advisory was originally in effect until 10:00 AM CDT today.

Motorists who may have experienced reduced visibility during the advisory period can now expect clearer conditions. No further action is required at this time.
