Jupiter Hometown Heroes Program Recognizes Community Contributors
Jupiter launched a new program to recognize residents, volunteers, and local business owners who strengthen the community through their actions.
The Hometown Heroes program accepts nominations year-round for individuals or teams whose work in the past six months advanced kindness, safety, environmental stewardship, youth support, cultural preservation, or community problem-solving. Examples include checking on neighbors, improving parks and waterways, mentoring youth, and bolstering safety.
Town staff review nominations within weeks of submission. Selected honorees are celebrated at Town Council meetings and featured on the town's website and social media.
Residents can submit nominations online at the town's website or call 561-741-2347 for assistance. All nominations become public records under Florida law.
The program accepts nominations from Jupiter residents, local volunteers, and employees or owners of Jupiter businesses.
