"Hampton Bays Elementary School kindergartners brought the spirit of Thanksgiving to life as they participated in their school’s traditional Thanksgiving hallway parade. Dressed in festive costumes and equipped with musical instruments, the students delighted onlookers as they played music, smiled and waved. The annual event not only celebrates the holiday season but also brings the school community together."
"Hampton Bays Elementary School’s community service club, K-Kids, recently donated $250 to Stony Brook Children's Hospital as part of a St. Patrick’s Day-themed fundraiser. To raise the funds, the students sold four-leaf clover necklaces during their lunch periods. The fundraiser is just one of several that the K-Kids have participated in this year. They also raised money for the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Date Added: 3/26/2025"
"In the spirit of giving, the members of the Hampton Bays Elementary School service organization K-Kids took action to donate to local families in need this Thanksgiving. Through a keychain sale, they raised enough to provide five families with $50 gift cards to purchase Thanksgiving dinners. They will next aim to collect gently used coats for those in need."
"Hampton Bays Elementary School K-Kids held a Green Day fundraiser on St. Patrick’s Day. The altruistic students sold green necklaces and raised $200 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and $200 for the Ronald McDonald House. They plan to hold an additional fundraiser for the Anderson Center in April."
"Members of Hampton Bays Elementary School’s service club, K-Kids, recently raised $200 for Camp Flying Point and $200 for the Anderson Center as part of an annual autism awareness fundraiser. The club sold autism awareness puzzle pieces that students decorated and hung in the school’s main hallway."
