Jupiter Parks & Recreation invites residents to a variety of October social events and activities, from balance classes and documentary watch parties to dance nights and pickleball 101.

The Jupiter Parks & Recreation Department has released its October schedule, offering residents numerous opportunities for community engagement. The programs aim to build connections and enhance well-being.
The “50+ Balance for Healthy Aging” class continues its Tuesday and Thursday sessions. These low-impact exercises focus on improving balance, coordination, and posture to prevent falls and support everyday movement.
Single-day events include:
- October 6: Documentary Watch Party with light refreshments.
- October 7: Arts & Crafts session for creative projects. Registration is preferred.
- October 8: Residents can choose between a Movie Matinee (lemonade and popcorn provided) or an Archery 101 class at Riverbend Park, led by certified staff.
Later in the month:
- October 9: The first of a monthly Friday Night Dance Party series, featuring music from the 60s to today. The series runs through April.
- October 14: An AARP Smart Driving Course (pre-registration and payment by check to AARP required) and a Birthday Social to celebrate monthly birthdays and build connections (pre-registration required).
- October 20: Lunch and the Classics, offering a meal and a classic movie.
- October 22: Beach Day @ Jupiter Civic Center, a supervised beach experience with food, beverages, and shelter.
- October 29: Pickleball 101 Class, introducing the sport's rules, techniques, and strategies.
