Wind Advisory Concludes for Johnson and Surrounding Counties

The Wind Advisory for Johnson, Cocke Smoky Mountains, and surrounding areas has concluded as of October 11 at 4:00 AM EDT, according to the National Weather Service.

The Wind Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Morristown TN for Johnson, Cocke Smoky Mountains, Southeast Greene, Unicoi, Northwest Carter, Southeast Carter, Blount Smoky Mountains, Sevier Smoky Mountains, Lee, Wise, Russell, and Washington counties has officially ended. The advisory was in effect until October 11 at 4:00 AM EDT.

According to the NWS, the threat associated with this Wind Advisory has concluded. Residents in these areas can now resume normal activities without concerns related to the advisory.
