Coastal Jefferson County residents should prepare for significant impacts, including peak storm surge inundation of 4-6 feet above ground in surge-prone areas, with a window of concern from Friday morning until Saturday morning. Damage to buildings near the coast, major beach erosion, and significant rip currents are potential impacts.
