At 2:34 PM CDT, radar indicated a strong thunderstorm located five miles west of Bullard, or 12 miles west of Whitehouse, moving north at 30 mph. Locations impacted include Tyler, Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Noonday, New Chapel Hill, Winona, Red Springs, and Teaselville. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning is also occurring with this storm, and lightning can strike up to 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.

Residents are urged to monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening conditions. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle immediately. Monitor local radio and television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. This storm may intensify.
