Voice Gerações Knockout Rounds Continue on RTP1

The knockout rounds, or 'tira-teimas,' of The Voice Gerações season four aired Aug. 23 and Aug. 30. The popular singing competition, featuring family and friend groups of singers, premiered July 12, 2026, on RTP1.

Coaches Marisa Liz, Mickael Carreira, Gisela João, and Anselmo Ralph return for the fourth season. Catarina Furtado hosts, with Maria Petronilho providing backstage coverage.

During the blind auditions, coaches filled eight spots on their teams. Each coach had two 'blocks' to stop rivals from selecting artists and a 'mega block' to automatically assign an artist. Marisa Liz and Gisela João did not use their second blocks.

Ágata's performance of "Macaco Nú" earned a four-chair turn from all coaches during the blind auditions.

The knockout rounds introduced the 'Verdict Room' (Sala de Veredicto). Coaches can place one group on hold from the first episode to potentially replace a group from the second episode. Twenty-four groups advanced to the semifinals.

The semifinals, pre-recorded, will feature coaches selecting one group from their team to advance to the live final in each of two episodes. Three groups from each team perform in each semifinal, with only one group advancing.
