Historic Weapons Demonstrations

Historic Weapons Demonstrations Check out the Historic Weapons Demonstrations at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument … every week on Saturday and Sunday!  Join park staff and volunteers (usually dressed in period garb). Hear history come alive with the boom of cannon or musket fire! Demonstrations are usually on the Castillo’s gundeck (upper level top) and last approximately 15 minutes. During special events, they take place on the grounds outside of the fort. Demonstration Times: 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm All demonstrations are subject to weather and staffing conditions. Please Note:  regular admission fees apply to watch demonstrations from inside the Castillo. Demonstrations can also be viewed from outside the fort along the seawall in an area accessed by a ramp.
