
Man Shot in Leg During Westside Argument - Jacksonville
A man was shot in the leg during an argument on Jacksonville's Westside early Sunday. Authorities have detained a suspect in the isolated incident.

Deputies responded around midnight to the 7200 block of Ken Knight Drive East, near Blanding Boulevard, after receiving a report of a shooting. They found a man in his late 40s with a leg injury. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue transported him to a local hospital; his injuries are not life-threatening.
Investigators said the man was in his front yard when he argued with an acquaintance. During the dispute, the suspect allegedly fired multiple shots, striking the victim.
The Sheriff's Office has detained a suspect and considers the shooting an isolated incident.
