Water & Shorelines - Washington State Department of Ecology We improve and protect water quality, manage and conserve water resources, and effectively manage coastal and inland shorelines to assure our state has sufficient supplies of clean water for communities and the natural environment. Washington's Water Future: We're bringing communities together to find local solutions to our state's water supply challenges. Water Quality services include: water quality assessment, cleanups, wastewater management, runoff control, Puget Sound monitoring, water quality standards, water quality grants and loans, water improvement, water quality permits, nonpoint pollution management, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, groundwater management, and freshwater protection. Water Supply services include: water resource management, water availability assessment, water rights administration, streamflow restoration, wells management, dam operations, water supply projects in Eastern Washington, stream flow protection, and water recovery solutions. Water Monitoring & Research: The department monitors water conditions and habitats in rivers, lakes, groundwater, Puget Sound, and the ocean, including swimming safety assessment. Shoreline & Coasts: The department partners to preserve and protect shorelines and oceans while supporting community needs, including management of Padilla Bay Reserve, shoreline management, hazards resilience, ocean management, coastal zone management, coastal research and engineering, and aquaculture. Wetlands: The department protects, restores, and manages wetlands due to their key role in watershed health, including regulations, mitigation, tools and resources, and educational resources. Online tools and resources available include: Dam operation and maintenance guidance, Municipal Water Law information, 401 Water quality certification, Stormwater general permits, Beach monitoring, Water rights search, Water Quality Atlas map tool, Well search and reporting, and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Register.

Calls within the city limits and county of St. Francis will be directed to this facility. In the event of a problem at this location the calls will be routed to Cross County until the problem is resolved. "The City of Rogers homepage presents several key announcements and community events: (1) America's 250th Anniversary Celebration - The City of Rogers is inviting residents and visitors to participate in a community-wide celebration of America's 250th Anniversary with special events, historic programs, and an interactive citywide History Hunt designed to bring local history to life. (2) Fourth of July Fireworks - The City of Rogers Fourth of July fireworks display will launch from the Mercy Trailhead and will be visible across much of Rogers. Recommended lots for the best viewing include the Promenade Mall, Mercy Hospital, Rogers Convention Center, and Hunt Tower. (3) Pattern Zone Program - The City of Rogers has launched the Pattern Zone Program, a new initiative that provides free, preapproved residential building plans, helping residents and builders move more quickly from concept to construction. (4) Northwest Park Grand Reopening - The City of Rogers will host the grand reopening of Northwest Park on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 1251 W. Will Rogers Dr. A ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 4 p.m., followed by family-friendly festivities. (5) Rogers Public Library Grand Reopening - The Rogers Public Library will celebrate its official grand reopening on Saturday, May 9 at 11 a.m., marking the full return of one of the community's most valued public spaces. The Library is located at 711 S. Dixieland Road. (6) Youth Sports Programming Update - Following action by the Rogers City Council, the City has approved funding to support staffing and expenses needed to fully operate Rogers Activity Center (RAC) programming under the City's Parks and Recreation Department. (7) Free Spay and Neuter Services - The Rogers City Council has approved a partnership with the Humane Society for Animals, Inc. to provide free spay and neuter services for Rogers residents. (8) State of the City Address - Mayor Greg Hines delivered the 2026 State of the City Address before the City Council meeting, highlighting the City of Rogers' accomplishments over the past year and outlining priorities for the future. (9) Fire Station 4 and Olive Street Park Construction - The City of Rogers has begun a major project that will strengthen public safety while also creating a vibrant new neighborhood destination. The project includes construction of a new Fire Station 4, followed by the construction of a new Olive Street Park. The website also lists multiple Railyard Live Concert Series events scheduled for July 2026 and various city meetings including Rogers City Council Meeting (Tue, Jul. 14), Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting (Wed, Jul. 15), Rogers Water Utilities Commission Meeting (Mon, Jul. 20), Historic District Commission Meeting (Tue, Jul. 21), Planning Commission Meeting (Tue, Jul. 21), and Board of Adjustments Meeting (Tue, Jul. 21)."
