Islamorada residents and businesses planning events or activities that require a fire watch can now formally request personnel through Islamorada Fire Rescue. The department has made available a Standby Fire and Emergency Watch Request form, accessible via PDF.
This service ensures that appropriate fire and emergency medical personnel are on standby for specific events, providing an added layer of safety for the community. The form outlines the necessary details for such a request, including the applicant's contact information, the location and date of the detail, and the number of fire/EMS personnel required.
The rate for Fire and Emergency Watch Personnel is established at $37 per hour, as set by Village Resolution 08-07-46. This fee covers the cost of providing trained personnel to ensure safety compliance during events.
The Islamorada Fire Rescue Department is located at 86800 Overseas Hwy., Islamorada, FL 33036. For inquiries regarding the Standby Fire and Emergency Watch Request form or services, residents can contact the office at 305-664-6490 or reach out via email at [email protected].
