Islamorada to host public workshop on Comprehensive Plan update
Islamorada residents can attend a public workshop on the Comprehensive Plan update on Sept. 30, 2026, at Founders Park Community Center or online via Zoom.

Islamorada residents are invited to a public workshop to discuss the upcoming update to the Village's Comprehensive Plan. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Founders Park Community Center, located at 87000 Overseas Highway.
The Comprehensive Plan is a crucial document that guides future growth and development within the Village of Islands. This workshop provides an opportunity for community members to learn about the proposed changes and offer their input directly to village officials.
For those unable to attend in person, the workshop will also be accessible online via Zoom. To join, participants can use the webinar link https://us06web.zoom.us/j/91106564166 with Zoom ID: 911 0656 4166. Instructions for joining the webinar and participating in public comment, including how to use the "raise your hand" feature, will be available on screen.

Stat., anyone wishing to appeal a decision made by the Village Council will need a verbatim record of the proceedings, including testimony and evidence, to base their appeal upon.
