State Attorney's Office Releases Results of Investigation into Deputy-Involved Shooting; Shooting Justified (26-050) - The State Attorney's Office (SAO) released the results of their investigation into a shooting involving two Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputies. 2. Clearwater Man Arrested for First Degree Murder After Shooting (26-049) - Detectives assigned to the Robbery & Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in Pinellas Park. 3. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Graduates from the FDLE Senior Leadership Program (26-048) - Today, June 5, 2026, Lieutenant John Moten graduated from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Senior Leadership Program. The graduation took place at the FDLE headquarters in Tallahassee. 4. Pinellas Park Man Arrested for Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting (26-047) - Detectives assigned to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Threat Management Unit have arrested a Pinellas Park man for Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting. 5. Hurricane Season Begins June 1 - Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, so now is the time to prepare. 6. Detectives Arrest Sexual Battery Suspect From 1998 Cold Case (26-046) - On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, detectives assigned to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit arrested a sexual battery suspect from a 1998 cold case. 7. MAIT Investigates Vehicle Versus Pedestrian Crash in Seminole (26-045) - Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in Seminole. 8. UPDATE: Missing Woman Located - Local Silver Alert Issued for Missing Dunedin Woman (26-044) - Deputies have issued a Local Silver Alert for 70-year-old Patricia Timoney. 9. Safety Harbor Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography (26-043) - Detectives assigned to the Cyber Investigations Unit have arrested a Safety Harbor man for Possession of Child Pornography. 10. 36th Annual Pinellas County Fallen Law Enforcement Memorial (26-042) - On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will host the 36th Annual Pinellas County Fallen Law Enforcement Memorial. 11. Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) Investigates Serious Vehicle Crash in Madeira Beach (26-041) - Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a serious vehicle crash in Madeira Beach. 12. Beware of Tech Support Scams in Older Americans Month - May is Older Americans Month, and we celebrate the strength, resilience, and wisdom of our older community and the many contributions they have made. We also want to help keep older Americans safe from scams. 13. UPDATE – Driver Arrested for Vehicular Homicide and Child Neglect - Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) Investigates Serious Vehicle Crash in Oldsmar (26-040) - Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a serious vehicle crash in Oldsmar. 14. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Graduates from the Florida Sheriff's Association's 2026 Commanders Academy (26-039) - On Friday, April 24, 2026, Lieutenant Amanda Hyams graduated from the Florida Sheriff's Association's (FSA) 2026 Commanders Academy in Tallahassee, Florida. 15. UPDATE - Operation Medicine Cabinet Event Scheduled (26-038) - Operation Medicine Cabinet will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the following locations. Emergency Contact Information: Calling or texting 911 connects you to law enforcement, fire rescue, and EMS. Use 911 for any emergency, including crimes in progress, fires, critical medical situations, and serious vehicle crashes. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office also has a non-emergency number – 727-582-6200 – for crimes that are not in progress, and for general information.

"NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS OF DAWSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND DAWSON COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATIONNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that meetings of the Dawson County Board of Commissioners and the Dawson County Board of Equalization will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Commissioners’ Room, 2nd Floor, Dawson County Courthouse, Lexington, Nebraska.  The County Board of Equalization meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the County Board of Commissioners’ meeting will begin immediately after the Board of Equalization meeting. Both meetings are open to the public.  Agendas of these meetings are kept continually current and are available for public inspection at the office of the Dawson County Clerk; agendas may be modified at these meetings. The Commissioners will have a budget workshop immediately following the Board of Commissioners' meeting in the Commissioners' Room."
