Iowa City Completes Melrose Avenue Sewer Project

Iowa City completed a sanitary sewer rehabilitation project along Melrose Avenue between Mormon Trek Boulevard and Hawkins Drive.
Crews used cured-in-place pipe lining to repair sewer mains on Melrose Avenue and adjacent side streets. This method rehabilitates existing lines without excavating and replacing pipes, minimizing street and property disruption.
