Per F.S. 28.42, the Clerks of Court and Comptrollers, through their association and in consultation with other agencies, prepares and disseminates annually a manual of filing fees, service charges, costs and fines imposed pursuant to state law. The Clerk’s office is responsible for collecting fees for various court-related activities. Select an area below to view the related fees and costs. School Advisory Council (SAC) The purpose of the School Advisory Council is to bring together administrators, teachers, education support staff, parents, students and other stakeholders to improve student achievement. The SAC's role is to assist in the preparation and evaluation of the school improvement plan (SIP) and to assist in the school's budget. On November 20, 2021, the Florida Courts Portal moved to a new payment processor. This will have an effect on filers regarding payment. Currently, payment is accepted when the Clerk accepts and processes the document. When this change occurs, payment will be accepted at the time of filing through the Portal. The Clerk will continue to process documents pursuant to statutory guidelines which could be up to 3 days following submission. If filings are rejected by the Clerk for correction, filers still have 5 days to correct and resubmit otherwise a refund will be initiated by the Portal. If the filing is corrected and resubmitted and the fees are different from the original amount, the portal will refund the original payment and create a new payment for the updated amount. Refunds will take 2-5 business days to appear in your account depending on your financial institution. For this reason, please be sure to thoroughly review your filings prior to submission to reduce the need for the Clerk to reject them.
