Nancy Hansen, Crescent City Resident, Dies at 73
Nancy Gail Hansen, 73, died peacefully at her home in Crescent City on May 27 following an extended illness.
Hansen moved to Crescent City from Beauford, South Carolina, in 1974. She worked in accounting at Miller Enterprises and later at First Federal Savings and Loan in Crescent City. She was a member of South Putnam Church.
She collected vintage vehicles, including a 1952 Ford Panel Truck and a 1977 Volkswagen Bus, and enjoyed embroidering.
Hansen was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Frances Enochs; two sons, Mark and Travis Hansen; and a brother, Robert Enochs.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger Hansen; three children, Kirk Hansen of Dunnellon, Michelle Hansen of Amherst, Virginia, and Michael Hansen of Gainesville; a brother, Tom Enochs of Arizona; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held June 6 at South Putnam Church, 284 Union Ave., with Pastor Daniel Jones officiating. The family requests memorial donations be sent to South Putnam Church, P.O. Box 564, Crescent City, FL 32112. Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home handled arrangements.
