Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida will distribute boxes of perishable and nonperishable food without charge to county residents at upcoming food giveaway events in New Smyrna Beach and DeLand. Volusia Ready Response Corps has marked a strong first year with 78 trained volunteers ready to support residents during hurricanes, wildfires, and emergencies.
