Citrus County 2026 Road Improvement Plan Released

Citrus County Releases 2026 Road Improvement Plan

Citrus County unveiled its 2026 Pavement Management Work Plan on May 13, outlining which county roads will receive improvements this year. Residents can search the plan and view specific road treatments at citruscounty.gov/roads.

The county manages 1,844 miles of paved roads with an estimated replacement value of $1.3 billion. County Administrator Steve Howard said the searchable plan reflects the county's commitment to data-driven decisions and public transparency.

The plan builds on the Pavement Management Transparency Portal, launched earlier this year at citruscounty.gov/roadportal, which provides road condition data for all county-maintained roadways.
