Santa Rosa County RESTORE Council to Review Oil Spill Settlement Projects

The Santa Rosa County RESTORE Council meets Tuesday, June 16 at 2:30 p.m. at the Administrative Complex, 6495 Caroline St. in Milton, to review projects funded through the Deepwater Horizon oil spill settlement.

County officials will stream the meeting live and archive it online. The agenda and supporting documents are available on the county's RESTORE Act webpage.

The council evaluates proposed projects against criteria including economic recovery, ecosystem restoration, and infrastructure improvements. Past allocations have funded beach restoration, water quality monitoring, and coastal resilience projects.
