The City of Charlevoix is currently updating the 5-year Parks and Recreation Plan and would like community input for the vision of the park system. The purpose of a Parks and Recreation Plan is to identify community recreation and open space needs to set a plan for the next five years. The plan will adhere to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) standards and guidelines. Upon plan approval, the City will be eligible to apply for grant funding for parks and recreation development or acquisition projects.Your feedback will be instrumental as the City plans for recreational improvements to best reflect the community’s needs and desires.
