A Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Sioux Falls, SD, for Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Pipestone, Beadle, Kingsbury, Brookings, Sanborn, Miner, Lake, and Moody counties is set to expire today, September 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT.
According to the NWS, visibilities are improving across the affected areas. While the official advisory is expiring, isolated pockets of visibility at 2 miles or less may persist for approximately another hour in some locations.
