CDC Study Estimates 112 Million Incidents of Drunk Driving Annually

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a Vital Signs study analyzing the frequency of drunk driving in the United States. Researchers estimate approximately 112 million instances of adults driving while intoxicated occurred in 2010.

This equates to roughly 300,000 episodes of drinking and driving daily, the CDC reported. The study offers a snapshot of behaviors related to alcohol consumption and transportation.
