Huntsville Old Monrovia Road Streetscape Project

Huntsville awarded Rogers Group Inc. a contract to improve 2,700 feet of Old Monrovia Road between University Drive and Corporate Drive on the east side of MidCity District.
Construction begins next month and finishes by November 2026. Workers will install multiuse paths for pedestrians and cyclists, landscaped islands for traffic calming, turn lanes, irrigation systems, and decorative street lighting that matches MidCity design standards.
The improvements will create a more pedestrian-friendly corridor connecting the two main roads.
