Pasco County Raises Income Limits for Hurricane Housing Aid

Pasco County's Office of Disaster Recovery and Resources expanded eligibility for its Better Future Individual Housing Program, opening aid to more homeowners whose properties were damaged by Hurricanes Idalia, Helene, or Milton.

Single-person households can now qualify with incomes up to $96,360, and four-person households up to $137,640. These thresholds equal 120% of the Area Median Income.

The program prioritizes applications from households earning between 80% and 120% AMI if the home includes a child age 5 or younger, a senior age 62 or older, a person with disabilities, or if residents cannot yet occupy the home.

Homeowners can apply online at mypas.co/IHPApp or call 727.228.4936. Those with questions about eligibility can schedule an appointment with the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resources. More information is available at mypas.co/BetterFuture.
