HUDSON – The Hudson Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will consider multiple variances for a new home and driveway construction at 1957 Norton Road. The property is located in District 1, a Suburban Residential Neighborhood.

Applicant Matthew Neff seeks three variances from the City of Hudson Land Development Code to build on areas designated for stream corridors, wetlands, and their required setbacks. Section 1207.03(c) prohibits disturbance within these zones.

The first variance would allow any disturbance within stream corridors, wetlands, and their setbacks. The applicant also requests a variance to reduce the stream corridor setback from 30 feet to 3 feet, a reduction of 27 feet. A variance is also sought for the wetland setback, reducing it from the required 50 feet to zero feet.

Bektic Capital Holdings LLC of Peninsula owns the property. The board reviewed staff reports, including "BZBA July Staff Report - 1957 Norton Rd" and "26-38 1957 Norton - September staff report," before its deliberation.
