The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco) has lifted a health advisory for high bacterial levels at Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park. The advisory was issued due to elevated levels of Enterococcus bacteria.

Recent water quality tests conducted Monday, Sept. 21, show that Enterococcus bacteria levels now meet state guidelines. The water quality is deemed safe for recreational use.

Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park is located at 6345 Clark St. in Hudson.

DOH-Pasco monitors beach water quality countywide and issues advisories when bacteria levels pose a potential health risk.

Residents can contact DOH-Pasco at 727-619-0300 for more information.
