The Elmore County Highway Department is seeking applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator. Typical duties include operation of heavy equipment (i.e. maintainer, front-end loader, backhoe, asphalt paving equipment, trackhoe, dozers, compaction equipment, tractor trailer, etc.) in construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. Requires a valid Alabama driver's license (CDL preferred). Candidate must have experience in operating heavy equipment and knowledge of safety procedures.
