Miami Dade College Hialeah Expands Program Offerings

Miami Dade College's Hialeah Campus provides residents with diverse educational opportunities, including career-focused certificates, bachelor's degrees and professional development courses. The campus offers day, evening, weekend and hybrid classes year-round to accommodate various student schedules.

The Miguel B. Fernandez & Family School of Global Business, Trade, Transportation offers courses in accounting, business administration and entrepreneurship, with pathways to a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management.

The School of Engineering + Technology (EnTec) provides programs for careers in technology and engineering. The campus also houses the Hialeah Cultural Center, which features an art gallery partnering with the Leah Arts District to showcase local artists.

The School of Continuing Education & Professional Development offers non-credit courses for cultural enrichment or professional skill enhancement. The campus hosts an Annual Student Interdisciplinary Symposium where students share research and collaborate.

The SCHOLARS program offers peer mentoring for direct-entry students through a collaboration between Student Services, Learning Resources, iCED and First-Year Experience faculty. Campus Community Initiatives promote engagement and inclusivity to support student success and community involvement.

Registration for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 classes is open. Students can view available courses on the Student Portal and meet with an advisor to plan their academic path.
