M-DCPS Town Halls: Secure Our Future Referendum Renewal

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) will host nine town hall meetings for residents to learn about the proposed renewal of the Secure Our Future Referendum.

Voters will decide Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, whether to extend the referendum for four years. The renewal will continue support for teacher salary supplements and school safety improvements.

Superintendent Villalobos will attend the meetings. Each event includes a community resource fair from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by the main session from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The town halls aim to answer questions about the referendum's impact on local schools.
