Lucy Switching Station Re-bid Pre-Bid Meeting in Homestead

Homestead, FL – A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will convene Sept. 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. for the re-bid of ITB#202635, concerning the construction of barrier walls for the Lucy Switching Station. The meeting takes place in the General Services Administration Department conference room at 350 SE 6th Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030.

The conference provides potential bidders an opportunity to discuss project scope and ask questions. City officials state that no verbal questions will be answered outside this meeting. Interested parties must submit written questions to Lissandra Kmoch, Procurement Specialist II, City of Homestead, at 350 SE 6th Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030, or via email at [email protected]. These questions must arrive at least two days before the pre-bid conference.

A site inspection of the project location, the Lucy Switching Station at 16191 SW 328th Street, Homestead, FL 33030 (northeast corner of SW 162nd Avenue and SW 328th Street), will follow the conference.

Attendees planning to participate in the site inspection must complete a Site Inspection Indemnity Form or present a copy of a certificate of insurance evidencing statutory worker’s compensation coverage at the pre-bid meeting. Bidders failing to provide this documentation will not be permitted to join the site inspection.
