Homestead Sets Council Election Date for Nov. 4, 2025

Homestead residents will cast ballots in the General and Special Elections on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. The elections will fill seats #1 (Northwest), #4 (Southwest) and #5 (Waterstone) on the local governing body.

For Seat #1 (Northwest), incumbent Thomas B. Davis, 413 NW 19th St., faces challenger Kimberly Konsky, 90 NW 15th St. Voters in this district will choose between the two.

Jenifer N. Bailey, incumbent at 121 NW 4th St., is running unopposed for Seat #4 (Southwest).

Erica G. Ávila, 990 NE 35th Ave., and Sonia M. Castro, 1515 NE 36th Ave., are competing for Seat #5 (Waterstone).

Early voting runs from Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, through Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot was Oct. 23, 2025. Voter registration for these elections closed Oct. 6, 2025.
