Coming soon, the Hangout Music Festival will be back on the beautiful Gulf Shores public beaches May 20 - 22. The Festival began in 2010 and has grown through the years bringing in more than 40,000 fans a day to the last festival in 2019. Hangout 2020 and 2021 did not happen due to Covid and loyal fans expect this comeback year to be better than ever. This beachside festival is considered one of the top destinations in the world for musical entertainment. The 2022 line up includes more than 80 acts. From Grammy award winning artists to local talent who won the battle of the bands to take the stage, year after year the Hangout Music Fest delivers the best names in pop, rock, rap, dance music and more but itrsquo;s the festival perks and location that makes this music fest a top-tier event. Located on the sugar white sands of the Gulf Shores public beach adjacent to the Hangout Restaurant, the Hangout Music Festival provides 13 separate experience areas where festival goers can enjoy everything from cooling off in swimming pools, swaying to the Gulf breezes in hammocks, enjoying delicious food, beach volleyball, a tropical spa, morning yoga sessions, sailing, roller disco and so much more. Anyone wanting a break from all that the festival has to offer can enjoy the many activities that the Gulf Coast provides. Whether itrsquo;s shopping, dining, amusement parks or water activities, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and the surrounding community has something for everyone. The Gulf Coast provides many of the options of a big city all with a small town feel and southern charm. The festival offers a shuttle service that runs every 30 minutes, making it easy for festival fans to enjoy the sun, sand and sweet music. What does the Hangout Music Festival mean to real estate investors? Hangout Fest provides national exposure, nationwide advertising, brings business to the area and gives back to the community with local community philanthropy and engagement.

Hangout Fest provides national exposure, nationwide advertising, brings business to the area and gives back to the community with local community philanthropy and engagement. National Exposure - when people talk about the Hangout Festival they talk about Gulf Shores. Once an unknown, sleepy, fishing village located at the bottom of the state of Alabama on the beautiful Gulf Coast, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are now well known vacation destinations bringing in 6.1 million visitors to Alabamarsquo;s coastal destination in 2019. National Advertising ndash; Hangout Fest brings in the music industrys top talent. It is also co-produced by Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Itrsquo;s not just the Hangout Festival that is being advertised and talked about, the Alabama Gulf Coast is being promoted as well. Tourism ndash; Beyond the 40,000 fans a day that are enjoying all that the Gulf Coast has to offer during Hangout Fest, these fans are falling in love with the area and returning year round for family vacations or weekend getaways. Community Engagementnbsp;- the Hangout Music Festival has sought to uplift the local community by investing in the area. Most recently $100,000 was donated to Gulf Shores City Schools to build a state of the art music lab including a recording studio, musical instruments and stage complete with sound and lighting. I personally live in Gulf Shores because I love the small town, big beach. There is always something to do but with the southern charm of a small town. I own and rent condominiums on the beach because they are a great investment. My units more than pay for themselves with the rent they bring in. If you are interested in our small town, big beach, give me a call. I would love to help you find a property that is right for you. Wonder Gala Raises Nearly $600,000 for Early Childhood Programs

"The annual fundraising event raised nearly $600,000 to support life-changing programs for young children and families. (December 18, 2025) The Florida Center for Early Childhood’s Wonder Gala on December 5, 2025 at The Ora was an unforgettable celebration of generosity, resilience, and community spirit. More than 260 supporters and staff gathered to honor the organization’s mission. Together, they raised nearly $600,000 to strengthen early education, developmental therapies, and mental health services for young children and their families. Throughout the evening, guests were reminded that the earliest years shape a lifetime—a truth reflected in the stories shared and the moments that unfolded, as families illustrated how timely, compassionate support can change the trajectory of a child’s life and restore a sense of wonder. One of the night’s most powerful elements was the Wonder Wall, a striking display of faces and stories from children and families impacted by The Florida Center’s programs. This installation invited guests to witness the resilience, hope, and progress made possible by early intervention and community support. Music and celebration filled the ballroom, as Sarasota Young Voices and the Gulf Coast Homeschool Fine Arts Boys Choir provided a layered choral backdrop during a performance by rising star Allison Nash, who delivered two soulful sets. Later in the evening, Soul Sensations kept the dance floor full with high-energy music. Silent and live auctions and a lively paddle raise, featuring exceptional experiences and getaways, contributed significantly to the evening’s fundraising success. Referencing Allison Nash’s performance of “Higher Love,” board president Eddie Pérez-Ruberté shared, “The message of the song reminds us that even when the world feels heavy or unfair, there is a love each and every one of us can bring into it—a love that heals, strengthens, and gives hope. Miracles happen here every day.” The Wonder Gala also reflected the momentum of the past year, during which thousands of children and families received support through early childhood mental health services, school-based therapy, developmental therapies, FASD diagnostic evaluations, family support programs, and early education. Their progress underscores how early, compassionate intervention can restore stability, spark growth, and transform futures. Proceeds from the evening will directly support The Florida Center’s programs, ensuring more children receive the vital services they need during their most formative years. Board president Eddie Pérez-Ruberté shared moving remarks about courage, hope, and “higher love.” Guests filled the ballroom for an inspiring evening celebrating resilience, generosity, and community. The evening’s auctioneer, Jason Alpert, energized the room during the live auction, inspiring generous bidding in support of The Florida Center’s programs. Rising star Allison Nash delivered two soulful performances at the event. Members of Sarasota Young Voices and Gulf Coast Homeschool Fine Arts Boys Choir performed for Wonder Gala guests. Dr. Kristie Skoglund, CEO of The Florida Center for Early Childhood, welcomed guests and reflected on the organization’s impact. About The Florida Center for Early Childhood For more than 45 years, The Florida Center for Early Childhood has been the leading provider of therapeutic services, early education, and healthy development for young children in southwest Florida, offering a seamless delivery of services for the whole child and their family. Today, the agency is nationally recognized for its early childhood expertise in various specialties.
