Homestead High Football Maintains National Ranking in SI Power 25

Homestead High School's football team has maintained its position in the SI Power 25 National High School Football Rankings, as of the latest update on September 28, 2026. This continued national recognition follows a series of successful matchups against top rivals, solidifying the team's standing among the nation's elite.

The team's consistent performance on the field brings positive attention to Homestead. The national ranking is a frequent topic of community discussion, from Friday night lights to morning coffee conversations, as reported by local residents.

No teams dropped out of the SI Power 25 National High School Football Rankings this week, indicating a stable period for the top-ranked programs. Several top Southern California teams had a week off, using the time to prepare for the commencement of their league play. This suggests that while Homestead High School secured its position with key wins, other teams were strategically resting before crucial upcoming games.

The SI Power 25 rankings for September 28, 2026, reflected an active week across the country. Key wins by various teams solidified their positions rather than causing major shifts in the overall standings. Homestead High School's ability to secure victories against strong opponents played a significant role in its sustained presence in these competitive national rankings.
