Honor someone who has made a difference in your life by participating in the Flags for Heroes display this Memorial Day weekend in Jacksonville.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Riverside Jacksonville, this meaningful tribute features a powerful display of American flags at Memorial Park. Each sponsored flag represents a personal hero—whether military, first responder, parent, teacher, mentor, or community leader—creating a moving visual of gratitude and remembrance.
From May 23–25, 2026, hundreds of 3’ x 5’ American flags will be proudly displayed on 9-foot flagpoles throughout the park. Each flag includes a personalized recognition medallion bearing the names of both the honored hero and the sponsor, making every tribute uniquely meaningful.
This event offers the community a chance to reflect, celebrate, and recognize the individuals who have made an impact in our lives and in our nation.
