Redeemer Bible Church Announces New Podcast Series

I am currently posting a series of podcasts on social media entitled, “The Birds and the Bees.” But the episodes in the podcasts have nothing to do with human reproduction. Instead, I focus on the animals throughout both Old and New Testaments which cooperate with their Creator far better than human beings. God uses these animals to implement His will when humans refuse to do so. The list of animals, both wild and domesticated, includes bears, donkeys (many of these examples), cows, birds, the animals in the Ark, and even pigs. Pigs? Yup, even pigs. Pigs will sometimes be intolerant of evil when people grant make room for it in their lives. Pigs show more wisdom than people.

"Pinellas County is accepting applications for one vacancy on the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Citizen Advisory Committee. The selected applicant will fill the current term set to expire January 31, 2027, but will be eligible to reapply to serve another term. The South St. Petersburg CRA Citizen Advisory Committee was created by an interlocal agreement between Pinellas County and the City of St. Petersburg to establish the framework for establishing and administering a redevelopment plan within the identified boundaries. The CRA Advisory Committee advises the Community Redevelopment Agency for the South St. Petersburg CRA on the proposed community redevelopment plan and any amendments thereto, and to advise the Community Redevelopment Agency on issues and policies within the South St. Petersburg CRA.   The South St. Petersburg CRA Citizen Advisory Committee is comprised of nine members who must be residents, business and/or property owners or other community stakeholders within the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area.  The mayor of the City of St. Petersburg appoints six Citizen Advisory Committee members subject to confirmation by the St. Petersburg City Council.  The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners appoints three Citizen Advisory Committee members.  Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every other month at 5:15 p.m. at St. Petersburg City Hall. More information about the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Citizen Advisory Committee can be found at pinellas.gov/boards-councils-and-committees/south-st-petersburg-community-redevelopment-area-citizen-advisory-committee/.  Applications are due by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The application can be found at pinellas.gov/boards.   Please note: All materials submitted to Pinellas County government are subject to the public records law of the state of Florida.   The post South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Citizen Advisory Committee vacancy announced appeared first on Pinellas County."
