The clinic is open to all dog-owning residents of Cuyahoga County and operates first come, first served, rain or shine. “No one wants to imagine their dog getting lost, but preparation matters,” said Jen Huettich, Manager of External Affairs. “Having your dog microchipped and wearing their current year license is the fastest way to be reunited if your dog becomes missing and ends up in a shelter.” All dogs microchipped at the event will be registered into the national microchip database. With an ever-increasing influx of dogs into shelters. CCAS aims to bring awareness to the benefits of microchipping and getting dogs licensed. WHAT: Free Community Microchip Clinic hosted by the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter WHEN: Sunday, October 4th from 9 a.m. -11 a.m. WHERE:Tri-C Western Campus Parking Lot D11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, OH 44130 Available and lost pets can always be viewed at https://www.cuyahogadogs.com. AG Wilson Holds Kickoff Meeting for Teen Ambassador Board - Ohio Attorney General Publications FAQ Media Contact Search: Media > News Releases > October 2026 > AG Wilson Holds Kickoff Meeting for Teen Ambassador Board News Releases Search News Releases: AG Wilson Holds Kickoff Meeting for Teen Ambassador Board 10/6/2026 (COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson this week welcomed members of his 2026-27 Teen Ambassador Board during a meet-and-greet that included presentations from key members of his staff. “This program gives students a firsthand look inside the Attorney General’s Office,” Wilson said. “Our ambassadors are eager to jump into this experience and build a strong understanding of state government, the law and what a career in public service looks like.” The board consists of 248 high-school juniors and seniors representing 45 Ohio counties. During their one-year term, the students gain firsthand knowledge of Ohio’s legal and governmental operations through discussions with state officials, interactive learning sessions and other activities. Board members also provide input to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office on issues affecting teens and work together to offer solutions to challenges facing Ohio communities.
