Local UMC Church Seeks Donations for Global Ministries

The United Methodist Church encourages residents to donate to its global network of ministries, which provide tangible assistance worldwide. Contributions can be made online, by mail, or through planned giving. Donors may direct their gifts to specific ministries.

Available designated funds include the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) for disaster relief and refugee assistance, National Justice for Our Neighbors for legal services to immigrants and refugees, and the World Service fund, which supports the church's global mission. Other options include contributions to Africa University for education, the UMC Student Loan Fund, Strengthening the Black Church initiatives, Young People's Ministries, Discipleship Ministries, and United Methodist Communications.

The United Women in Faith organization also accepts donations to support its work on behalf of women, children, and youth.
