Macy's Back-to-School Bash at Westland Mall Hialeah

HIALEAH – Macy's at Westland Mall welcomed families for a "Back to School" event on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026. The store, located at 1777 W 49th St., hosted the event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. near its mall entrance.

Attendees had a chance to win one of 100 $50 gift cards, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies ran out. Local radio stations Ritmo 95, Zeta 92 and El Zol 106.7 collaborated with Macy's for the event.

The event featured "Meet the Expert" beauty sessions. Representatives offered personalized advice on fragrances, skincare and makeup from brands including YSL, Coach, Lancôme, Clarins, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Carolina Herrera and Clinique. Shoppers who made purchases also received gifts, such as personalized bracelets and water bottles, while supplies lasted.

Toys "R" Us organized children's activities, including appearances by Geoffrey the Giraffe, interactive coloring stations, a selfie booth and face painting. Gifts were also available with purchases from Toys "R" Us, while supplies lasted.
