Hialeah Schools Get Major Community Support Boost

Hialeah schools are benefiting from significant community support as multiple organizations donate resources to students and families. First Books, a national organization, has provided thousands of books to local schools, aiming to increase access to reading materials for children.

A representative from First Books highlighted the importance of shared reading experiences, stating, "For children, there was nothing cozier than to listen to mom or dad read to them. They use their imaginations, create worlds and adventures!"

Several other organizations are partnering with Hialeah schools. These include Therapy Alliance, Arley Therapy Services, FIU, dd's DISCOUNTS, Green Family Foundation Neighborhood Help, OT Wellness Therapy, Little Star Therapy, Carlos Albizu University, and Petco. These collaborations offer educational, therapeutic, and community assistance programs.
