Hialeah Launches Freebee: On-Demand Electric Shuttle Service Now Available for All Residents

Hialeah residents can now access free, on-demand transportation throughout the city with the launch of Freebee, an electric shuttle service provided by the City of Hialeah. The service began operating this week, offering door-to-door rides in 100% electric, emissions-free vehicles.

This new initiative aims to provide convenient transit options for all ages, from children to seniors, and even welcomes pets. Freebee drivers will pick up and drop off passengers at safe locations, avoiding traffic congestion.

Freebee operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekend service is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The service is designed to connect residents to various destinations within Hialeah.

For families, Freebee provides booster seats for children who meet the size requirements. Parents or guardians must supply federally approved car seats for smaller children and infants.

The City of Hialeah introduced Freebee to enhance local mobility and offer an environmentally friendly transportation solution. This service allows residents to navigate the city without personal vehicles for short trips, reducing local emissions and traffic.

Residents can request a ride through the Freebee app, connecting them to destinations across Hialeah.
