Wide Hollow Trailhead Opens in Herriman City

Herriman City officials opened the Wide Hollow Trailhead at 6602 W Wide Hollow Drive, creating a new access point to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

The facility includes parking for 70 vehicles, a restroom, and connections to nearby trails. The centerpiece is the Herriman Incline, a wooden staircase of 234 steps that climbs 160 vertical feet and offers views of the southern hills.

Salt Lake County provided grant funding for the project. City officials say the trailhead will ease congestion at other trail access points in the area.
